Rottnest Island

It's Jo and my 7th year Anniversary tomorrow. So to celebrate I took her via plane to Rottnest Island. It was her first time in a small plane and I hadn't been in one since going sky diving. You forget how small and rickety they are!

Here is the plane we went in.


I took along my DSLR, hoping to get some good photos from the air. However shooting through dirty, double glass in a plane that lurches and rocks all over the place doesn't really make it easy. Here's a few photos, the last two of Rottnest Island as we approached.


First up was coffee and an early lunch. The cafe was absolutely packed! It's amazing how many people actually visit the island.


There's not too many exciting shots unfortunately and next time the DSLR will stay home and the P&S will do photo duties instead.

The photos aren't exciting, but the day was nice and relaxing. I'm blessed to be able to be married to Jo for 7 years and have 3 wonderful children!
