Perth Zoo

I took my family to Perth Zoo last week. We hadn't been in about 4 years, so Aran and Joel who had never been had a blast. I didn't get a huge amount of photos, but here's a few. Trying to juggle a SLR and three kids makes for an interesting day to say the least. As usual, click on the photos for viewing.

These were taken in the reptile area. As you can tell from my captions, I didn't pay a lot of attention to what kinds of animals I was photographing...

Joel loved the Rhinos. They were having a mud bath right near the fence that you watched from and he was enthralled :)

I met up at the Zoo with Richard from work and his son Henry. Henry is a fantastic kid and is always happy to pose for a photo. Although he spent a lot of time wanting to take photos with my camera. Needless to say, the gripped D700 and a 300mm lens was just a little bit heavy for him to lift :) This first shot is at ISO 6400 and shows just how good the D700 is at high ISO.
